Our outing on the 26th of February was a day trip to York. Although York is a regular place to visit for some members, it was a chance to sit back, relax and not worry about the traffic and where to park your car.

Whilst in York it was an opportunity to visit the many museums on offer of which some members went to the Jorvik Centre and some to the Railway Museum. It was also a chance for some to have a spot of retail therapy as there are plenty of shops in York City Centre.

Lunch was taken at our leisure in the many cafes, bars and restaurants,

Unfortunately, we were unable to go down and walk along the river as there was flooding as is often the case in York.

It was another enjoyable day out organised by Barbara.
