Our outing on the 9th of June was not on our usual day a Thursday but on a Sunday. This was to coincide with the

D-Day Celebrations at our outing destination at the North Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at Hibaldstow. It was the Centre’s first official open weekend.

We could wander around the exhibits, look at military vehicles and see WW2 re-enactors. Winston Churchill’s wartime speech was broadcast whilst we were there.

Following our visit, we had Sunday lunch at the Red Lion Pub in Redbourne which everyone enjoyed.
