On Thursday 18th January saw the Senior Tigers catch Hull Trains to go down to London, with the option to go to visit the home of Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium and then have free time or just spend the day how you want to.
We must all congratulate Barbara for once again doing a sterling job, we had our own carriage, with Barbara keeping us all in order, she even made sure her daughter-in-law and mother behaved themselves.
As a Senior Tiger, it was great to see so many people excited as we ventured out of our comfort zone on Hull Trains to London.
Can you imagine 50 Senior Tigers loose in London !!!
We arrived at Kings Cross late morning and those of us doing the stadium tour made our way to the Emirates, some by tube, whilst others decided to walk.
We had an audio system to listen to as we made our way around the stadium I have to say it certainly was very impressive.
Our party then went on a boat ride along the Thames before heading back towards Kings Cross for food before departing back to Hull on our train.
It just shows when we have an idea, we can investigate the possibilities of it coming to fruition.
I wonder what we can pull off next Barbara.
Onwards and upwards
