Outing to Whitby

Those picking the coach up in Cottingham by arrangement with Barbara leaves at 8-30am. Coach departs MKM Stadium at 9-00am.
We will go directly to Whitby and you will have about 4 hours to explore and enjoy all that Whitby has to offer – including the open top bus ride (hop on and off) at £8, various boat rides at reasonable costs, the Abbey – with all 199 steps – and the lovely micro-brewery at the top! The lager is worth the climb.
The open top bus takes you up there too. There is a lovely park to relax in, and harbour side-walks. You will be free to get your own lunches, but I recommend Trenchers (or take a packed lunch – weather permitting)
We will leave there at approx. 3.00 pm to travel down the coast to Scarborough Spa. There we will have tea/coffee and fresh cream scones. The bar will be open for those who would like to partake in a little something!!
