Our outing on the 14th of March was to the National Space Centre, near Leicester.
As we approached the site we caught a glimpse of the 42-metre-high Rocket Tower which has four exhibition decks to look round. There was much to see on our visit which included the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium which is the UK’s largest full-dome planetarium. Another offering was the Tetrastar Spaceport a brand-new experience at the National Space Centre. Also, there were galleries and exhibitions for us to view telling the past, present and future stories of space exploration and science.
It was an interesting and enjoyable day out.
