June 15th
The outing 0n 15th June, we had picked a very warm day to go to the Salford Quays. Everyone
did their own thing – eating, drinking, Lowrey Theatre, BBC buildings, shopping etc. We were delayed by traffic on the journey there, so arrived later, but it didn’t spoil the day.
We all gathered together at 3 o’clock to have a river cruise on the Canal into Manchester and back, before our return journey.
