On Thursday 4th May we held our annual End of Season meal. This was attended by a great many of our members who enjoyed a lovely meal provided by the Tigers Events Team.
Among our special guests was non-other than Andy Dawson who very kindly stepped in at short notice for Liam Rosenior who was unfortunately unable to attend. Following the meal, Richard Beachell interviewed Andy who gave a very positive outlook for next season.
After the meal and interview, we had a general knowledge quiz provided by Tony Bilton and a music quiz provided by Tom Wilkinson.
To finish off the afternoon we had a raffle which raised £614. There were some fabulous prizes on offer, one of which was a fantastic trip for two to Chatsworth House for afternoon tea very kindly donated by Acklams Coaches. The winner of this was Denise Wood and we are sure she will have a most enjoyable time.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all. Enjoying good food and good company among friends.
