We managed to fill all 46 seats of the canal boat the “Dalesman”
and were served with a delicious afternoon tea on board.
Our journey up the Leeds Liverpool Canal was very enjoyable, taking an hour each way to get us back to our berth in Skipton.
We then drove on to Grassington for an hour or so, at leisure, to take in the scenery for the series of All Creatures Great and Small, and have a drink or an ice cream.
The weather was not as warm as I had ordered, but this didn’t spoil a lovely day.
Our next outing will be in May when we visit Matlock Bath to take a ride on the cable car, up to the Heights of Abraham.
