Future of popular group secured….
At their April meeting, the Senior Tigers current Chairman Gordon Towse was able to announce to members that a new committee has been formed to take over the running of the group at the end of the current season.
The new committee, under the Chairmanship of David Jackson, was introduced to members and means that the Senior Tigers will move forward into the 2015/16 season.
The meeting also saw the Senior Tigers make two donations to charity from funds raised during the current campaign. The group donated £500 to Teenage Cancer Trust and a further £500 to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Ian Ashbee captained the Tigers from the third division to the Premier League during a memorable nine-and-a-half years at the club in which he also overcame career-threatening injuries on his way from the bottom to the top.
The former midfielder will be talked about many of his most memorable days as well as life after the Tigers.
