The Senior Tigers Club run a number of Health and Fitness activities for our members. You can find details about these and how to join in below.
Walking Football
What is Walking Football?
If you want an exercise that is a little more than a straightforward walk then walking football may be for you. All Senior Tigers members are eligible to play. You will find there will be a few who will be of similar age, state of health and skill level as yourself. The most important thing is you like the team game of football and welcome the opportunity to socialise with like-minded colleagues.
This is a team game and the prime objective is to enjoy yourself. The walking football rules will be explained to you before you take part in a game.
The sessions are supervised by trained members of the Tigers Trust who ensure all health and safety precautions are adhered to in order to ensure a safe environment for your pleasure.
The usual venue for the sessions is the Tigers Trust Arena (indoor) and the session times are 10-00 am to 12-00 pm, Mondays and Thursdays, 60 minutes playing time and 60 minutes of relaxation/refreshments. This provides an enjoyable social activity with good exercise but no running! The cost is £3 per session so just turn up with a pair of trainers, shorts/trackie bottoms and tee-shirt will be ideal.
Spectators Welcome!

Table Tennis
This is a fun activity and helps to keep you fit as well.
We meet just before 2-00 pm every week on a Wednesday in the main hall at the Haltemprice Leisure Centre. Play is for an hour and we usually spend time in the cafe afterwards.
We play short matches, singles and doubles, to increase the table time for everyone.
You are welcome to bring your own bat but all the playing equipment needed is provided by the Senior Tigers Club. The table is located in the main hall where suitable footwear is required for the wooden floor. There is no need to report to reception, just go straight to the hall.
The cost for the activity is £3.00 to be paid on the day.
